Enjoy private bedrooms and bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, expanded HD cable and high-speed internet, swimming pool, fitness center, computer lab, and a host of other modern amenities you would expect from a brand new off-campus student housing community. Despite its great location, the overall experience has been disappointing.
One of the biggest issues is that the elevator has been broken for months with no clear timeline for repair. Residents continue to deal with the inconvenience while management provides little meaningful communication about when the problem will be resolved.
The pool situation has been equally frustrating. It was supposed to open weeks ago, and residents have repeatedly been told for weeks it would be ready this week. Yet it is still nowhere near opening, and I rarely see anyone actively working on it.
Management has also been very rude and unresponsive whenever concerns are raised. Getting answers or updates often feels impossible, and resident concerns do not seem to be a priority.
For the price being charged, the building is simply not maintained to the standard that should be expected. Common amenities are frequently unavailable, maintenance issues linger, and overall upkeep is poor.
The only real positives are the location and the amenities when they are actually functioning and accessible. Unfortunately, those benefits are not enough to justify the cost or make up for the ongoing management and maintenance issues.

The elevator repair has required specialized parts and coordination with outside vendors, and while we know the extended timeline has been inconvenient, restoring it safely has remained a priority. The pool has also experienced delays beyond our control, and we recognize it has taken longer than anyone anticipated.
We appreciate your feedback and understand that delays can be disappointing. Our team continues to work with vendors to complete these projects as quickly as possible, and we will continue to provide updates as new information becomes available.
We hope that, once these projects are complete, you'll be able to fully enjoy the community and all of the amenities One on Centre has to offer.

Great Apartment
I have lived at One on Centre for just a short time, but everything has been perfect so far. The leasing office staff creates such a community within the apartment, and it is much appreciated. There are various amenities that all are very useful include a clean gym, swimming pool, golf simulator, and study rooms. I have taken advantage of everything and it all has been amazing. I want to thank the maintenance crew for helping my roommate and I with move in and learning about our apartment.

Great living space!
This place is amazing. It is very worth the value, and the people who work here are great- special shout out to the maintenance team who is fantastic and always fixes any problems extremely quickly. I have had such a positive experience with one on Centre and would recommend this place to anyone who needs a place in Pittsburgh.
